Memos (Memorandum) is a
message containing a short message that aims to convey important information.
Usually messages are directives, orders, or announcements. The information
submitted must be in a short, solid form and can be understood by the
recipient. Memos can be categorized into 2 kinds of formal memos (formal) and
informal memos (informal).
An official memo can be
interpreted as a short message given by a superior to subordinates or among
fellow workers with the aim of providing a message on matters relating to work.
Because the message is limited, memos usually include the name of the agency or
company where the recipient and the memo maker work.
While unofficial memos are
usually written between friends with the aim of conveying messages that are
personal relationships between friends or between personal who have a close
relationship.
The generic structure of
memo:
1. Opening: The section
containing the scrap recipient, the memo memo's memo and the destination of the memo.
2. Message content
(Content): In the form of a short message that is solid and easy to understand
by the recipient of the memo.
3. Closing: The section
containing the signature and the exact name of the person providing the memo.
